What is Ketso?
Ketso is a toolkit for creative and effective engagement. A Ketso kit provides a set of tabletop tools that can be used to capture and display people's ideas. It consists of colourful 'branches', 'leaves' and other materials, which can be placed on a felt workspace and easily moved around in response to changing discussion.
Ketso has been crafted to encourage creative thinking and valuable contributions from people with differing levels of confidence and ability.
Ketso is durable and re-usable, and comes in a handy carrying bag, making it easy to transport.
Ketso has a highly flexible design that can be adapted to many different uses, based on its solid intellectual grounding in cutting-edge research at the University of Manchester.
Ketso’s social mission is to transform the way we communicate, collaborate and learn worldwide. The use of Ketso creates greater engagement and it is a powerful tool for social inclusion.
We aim to create job opportunities for disadvantaged people throughout our supply chain. The re-usable jute bags are sourced from an ethical, certified factory in Kolkata, with other components from a fair trade company in Bangladesh.
The kit is assembled in a sheltered workshop in the UK. Our aim is to provide a practical and durable product, but also a product with character – produced by hand and with a history of careful thought and imagination.
